Med n’ Ed has partnered up with Family Supportive Housing to host educational workshops. In our first workshop, we taught the kids at the shelter about nutrition, exercise, food groups, overall, how to lead a healthy lifestyle. We made the lesson as entertaining as possible to keep the kids engaged; we played games with them, like Kahoot, a raise up the board game, and even had them watch a fun Arthur video! There were a total of eight kids, and we really enjoyed teaching them about maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and the kids seemed to learn a lot as well!
