Mask Drive
On February 3rd, 2021, Med n’ Ed had its first Mask drive. During these hard and unprecedented times of the global pandemic, we are often forgetting the needs of other underprivileged people. We realized that people lack basic resources to keep themselves safe from COVID-19. That is why, Med n’ Ed decided to help a few shelters and a hospital first hand. Sadhika Mulagari (founder and president), Roshni Danda (vice president), and Hana Grace Nayve (Treasurer) represented Med n’ Ed. Med n’ Ed donated masks to 3 shelters and one hospital, LifeMoves Homeless shelter, O’ connor hospital, HomeFirst Homeless Shelter, and Family Supportive Housing Homeless Shelter. In total Med n’ Ed donated 1000 masks (500 to the hospital, 200 to family supportive housing, 150 to LifeMoves, and 150 to HomeFirst). We hope that you can pass this act on and donate to Med n’ Ed so that we can keep helping the people in need!
Masks that were donated (1000 in total)
