What is Our Motivation?

Med n’ Ed’s motivation dates back to 2014 when the founder visited India and witnessed the horrifying struggles of healthcare accessibility. Although promised, many people did not receive an adequate amount of attention. Many kids in these underdeveloped countries do not know how to properly take care of themselves since they do not receive a proper education. This issue initiated the idea of starting Med n’ Ed, knowing that a lot of people are struggling around the world and a sufficient amount of attention should be brought to this issue.

Med n’ Ed has brought together over 80 people from 6 different countries. If there’s one thing that we share in common it’s our passion for healthcare and our collective drive to improve the global society that we live in. We feel that health is a place where one person at no means can compromise on, therefore, we strive to give medical access and support to those who need it. We also feel that education is a vital part of proper hygiene and health, and educating our peers and people, in general, can get these issues addressed. Around the world, all of our members have witnessed or understood these healthcare problems and disparities, and we want to put that understanding into action!
